Butterfly descended to 10 m and landed in a tree. It had flow
by too far to one side ( > 65 m) for me to take a bearing. Swifts were foraging.
High scans through binoculars are unproductive. |

Butterfly started at 5 m, made a few large circles while flapping
up to 30 m, flapped straight and began to soar level as it passed over a tree, then turned
back, and glided down to land in the tree. |
