Butterfly started at 1 m and flapped up to a thermal,
continued to gain altitude by circling and soaring, left the thermal and glided down to a
second thermal, climbed up to 60 m by circling an soaring, then left the thermal and began
gliding down again. Two more D. plexippus were flying at 1 m on a 160°
bearing and an extreme right crab. A third was in a thermal. Two vultures were
also soaring. |
