Butterfly started by flapping along at 7 m level, then
it flapped upward to a thermal and gained altitude by soaring and circling. The
butterfly left the thermal, resumed flapping flight, and repeated the process with another
thermal, finally switching to soaring straight at 15 m. Balloon indicates wind from
